Power Fx in Model-driven Power Apps and Dataverse

As most of you might have heard of Power Fx since couple of months after Microsoft announced the same officially. With this Microsoft is setting a new standard for the industry with low code development. Also, what if we say that low code itself will resemble something like excel formulas. Don’t you think its pretty cool? Yeah Power Fx is giving that feature to the end users. Now they are integrating the same with Model-driven apps and Dataverse taking both of them to a different level.

By integrating them to the model driven app, Microsoft is ruling out the use of JavaScript to create our own commands, especially in the Ribbon. Similar way, using the Power Fx formulas for calculated columns and rollups in Dataverse, we more modern and powerful alternative is now available for the existing facilities.
