Microsoft has recently announced command designer with Power Fx as a preview with an intent to take feedback from the community. As per the announcement this is the first step towards convergence of canvas and model-driven apps with command designer. Key improvements include,
- Enhancements to the custom pages
- Power Fx support for visibility and action logic
- Command designer
- Better ALM support
- Better app level support
- Simple and flat data model
- Classic commands are still supported.
